The third ranking factor to be aware of is the creation of outbound links to websites of disrepute. Providing outbound links to poor quality or irrelevant sites can cause severe damage to your site’s value, not only in the eyes of Google and other search engines but also those of your visitors.
However, not all paid links are deemed to be harmful; links to and from good quality, relevant sites will have a positive effect on your search engine rankings.
