Ever wondered what makes one website make it to the top of a search engine like Google’s list? Well it may or may not be that they are any better than the one on the bottom of the list. It has to do with getting backlinks. While surfing the web you give backlinks to the sites that you visit. So if your site gets more backlinks the better site it is deemed to be by all search engines
So are all backlinks the same? The answer is no. There are two types and the one that the search engines are wanting is what they call they one-way backlink. So lets see what the difference is between the two types of backlinks. The one-way has a link on your page to another site, but they have no link to your site. Then there is the two-way backlink that is not so sought after right now. With it you have a link on your page to another site and they have one back to you.
You want to get your website to the top right? You know that means you need one-way backlinks. How are you supposed to get them? The hardest two way of getting one-way backlinks are also the ways that have the best success rate.
1. Want the search engines to take a look at you site? Get some high-ranking sites to put one-way backlinks to your site on theirs. Why? Because they already have the attention of the search engines and if you have a backlink on there they will look at you too. How do you get them to do that? Ask the webmasters. Some will outright say no. Other’s you might have to show a sign of appreciation for. Put up a blog and say thanks to the webmasters that agree or come up with your own idea of thanks.
2. The next is the main reason why people give up. It is because the second method is article marketing. That may sound simple, but I am not talking about five or ten articles. You will need at least twenty to thirty articles before you start seeing any results. This does produce results. Some of the top marketers that have different sites may use up into the hundreds of articles.
